I could not wait to call Guindon Moving and storage as soon as the movers finished the delivery. I asked the office, “why would anyone use any other... moving company”? I first called approximately 6 weeks prior to our move. Because we did not have a firm date due to the sale and closing date, Annie asked me to call back closer to the exact date. This was my first time using a moving company and the guys I got from Guindon were great. They were very nice and respectful. They took extra care to... make sure my cat was secured while moving things out and were pretty careful with my items overall. They also went above and beyond to make stuff work. My box spring wouldn't fit up the stairs so one of the guys walked it around the entire building and they hoisted it up the side of the building to the emergency exit in the back! Unfortunately after PLENTY of out of the box thinking and effort the guys were not able to get my couch through the door way, but they gave me 30% off to Ashley Home Store to buy a new one and helped me store it in my storage area. It did end up being a bit more expensive than the estimate, so that was the only real negative I have, but it was well worth it. Anything they took apart they rebuilt (though my one of the legs on my kitchen table is a bit funky now) and they helped me place everything exactly where I wanted it. They were a great help. Definitely recommend.read more
